Keep Your Dream Alive — No Matter Where Life Takes You
Share
Sometimes, life takes you on long detours before it leads you home.
For years, I worked in the structured world of banking — numbers, balance sheets and deadlines. But within me lived another world — one of colour, form and design. My mother’s jewellery box was my first inspiration, a treasure chest that sparked my imagination as a little girl.
That dream — of creating jewellery that tells a story — never left me. It stayed quietly in my heart as I built a career, raised a family and navigated the responsibilities that life brings.
And then one day, I decided to listen to that voice again. To give shape to Zaie — my dream, my offering, and my homage to every woman who has ever put her desires on hold for duty, yet kept her spark alive.
It is never too late to begin again. Whether you are 25 or 52, life is always offering a new chapter. Passion has no expiry date; sometimes, it simply waits for courage to arrive.
Zaie was born out of that courage — and from the belief that creativity and purpose can bloom at any stage of life. When you follow what truly calls you, you don’t start from zero. You start from experience, wisdom and heart.
So to every woman reading this: hold on to your dream. Nurture it, even in silence.
Because one day, it may find its voice — and when it does, let it shine.
